At the conclusion of each Spring baseball regular season, local Little Leagues around the world select the best players in each age group to form All-Star teams representing their respective league. Alpine does this as well - typically forming All-Star teams in the 10s, 11s and 12s age groups (subject to player interest). All Alpine players in AAA and Majors, with a Little League playing age between 10-12, are eligible for All-Star team consideration.
All-Star teams compete for the coveted District 52 title against other local Little Leagues, with the District winner earning an opportunity to move on to Sectional and State tournaments. For the 12s, the team experience can culminate at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA with games televised nationally on ESPN.
In addition, District 52 (of which Alpine is a member) hosts additional postseason tournaments for players not participating in District All-Star tournament play. These events are called Super-Bowl tournaments, with Alpine typically fielding teams in both Minors/AAA and Majors divisions (again, subject to player interest). All Alpine players currently in AAA or Majors are eligible for Super-Bowl team consideration.
